Ashley + Adam's E-session

I met Ashley & Adam for their engagement session in Parkville. Of course, knowing me, I got lost on the way there! But I found them thankfully and we had a great session! It was actually really hot in the sun but it was more than welcome after all the reschedulings they had to put up with because of the crazy spring weather. It even snowed about 6 inches when their session was originally scheduled back in March! Then lots of rain in April so we rescheduled again. But May finally brought us some great picture weather.

Ashley & Adam are planning a September wedding and I can't wait to see how everything turns out for the Big Day!

Adam brought along his dad's classic car which was so awesome for pictures! I love the color!
They're so cute balancing on the railroad tracks.

I love this shot on the tracks and the way the spring green grass is poking up through them.

Coming soon: Mr & Mrs!

Ashley had the great idea of climbing up into a tree for a few shots. It's not everyday people will climb trees for pictures! I really appreciated their adventurous nature.

Candace + Ryan's Wedding

What a fun, laid-back couple these two are! It couldn't have been easy for Ryan and Candace to plan their wedding from chilly Minnesota but they pulled it off fabulously. I have to say I had a ton of fun shooting their wedding April 25th at Union Station. They topped it off with one heck of a party afterwards at the Boulevard Brewery. And they gave all the out-of-towners a genuine taste of KC by having Jack's Stack cater their reception. How awesome is that?!

Candace & Ryan, I hope you enjoy these shots from your happy wedding day here in KC!

The cutest flower girl! I loved Candace's jewelry.

Their 1st Meeting...she sneaks up on him for the big reveal.
I love Ryan's expression. You can tell he just knows he's got the most gorgeous bride.
It was crazy windy on their wedding day but thankfully, NO RAIN! So we stepped outside at Union Station for a few shots.
Then we took the wedding party behind Union Station to the Freight/Crossroads District.
The flower petals were sooo fascinating... :o)
No time for a rehearsal but their ceremony was nonetheless very romantic in the Jarvis-Hunt room.
A perfect touch to their wedding day...one of Ryan's daughters signing as a witness on their marriage certificate.
