Kansas City Family Photography : The Nichols Family

I had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful Nichols family last Saturday. All three kids did such a great job and are all too adorable for words! There was a bit of urgency to their session as one of their sons is currently in remission from a kidney disease which usually makes him all puffy. So I had to get them all into the studio ASAP while he was looking more like himself.

I had so much fun with them. A bunch of hams really. A few "tooting" jokes really got the kids giggling. I mean, who doesn't love a tooting joke?!

So here they are, a few of my favorites of the kids and the whole family together!

Kansas City Senior Photographer: Trey Sprick's Senior Session

When Trey's mom, Candy, called me up to schedule his senior photo shoot I knew right away that it would be a fun one--Trey's favorite season is winter and there happened to have just been a lovely snow storm leaving us with several inches of snow. It was spontaneous, because we needed that snow, yet sooooo cold. A high of 12 the day we had scheduled, so we put it off for a couple days until it was a balmy 26 degrees. The sun was out & Trey did a fantastic job of not looking as cold as I know he was!

These are some of my favorites from his session & it just goes to show you, snow can be a lot of fun!

Christie's Yoga Poses

Usually I am the one posing people but I, quite literally, ended up with quite a twisted up session this afternoon with Christie Froman, a yoga instructor. This was another first for me and it was so much fun and just simply amazing how long she could hold all the yoga poses while I shot away, capturing some great stuff for her own website & business. Here are a couple of my favorites along with a great headshot. I don't want to give it all away. ;o) You'll just have to look her up to see the rest.
