This year has already involved a lot of traveling for me with weddings and photo shoots, which I love, but much to my surprise I got to attend & photograph my own brother's wedding this March. Which meant I was traveling again, but this time to his home state of Texas.
Susan is the one. The first time he brought her home to Kansas City to meet the family I was so in love with her I knew I'd have to disown him if he let her get away. Thankfully, for everyone, I don't have to do that! :o)
Susan's parents hosted their intimate ceremony and reception in their lovely home in the high country. Surrounded by prickly pears and beautiful scenery, their home was the perfect setting for a wedding. But it's the people that really made it unforgettable.
Much love & happiness to you both!

Baby Asher + His Big Bro : Kansas City Newborn Photographer
Baby Asher was only 10 days old when I came to his home for his first professional portrait session. He won't remember a thing but one day he'll look back and see how much his big brother loved him right from the start and how adorable he is!
Barbette & David : A Central Florida Wedding
Both Dave & Barbette were such a joy to meet and work with. I traveled to Central Florida for their wedding at the Tierra Del Sol Golf & Country Club in The Villages. It was a second marriage for both but a perfect one worth the wait. Gorgeous weather, beautiful location and sweet couple. What more could I ask for?
Joe, Jennifer & Ashlynn : A Birmingham AL Family Session
I have been friends with Jennifer now for a couple years but unfortunately never get to see her as she lives in Alabama. She has always said if I was ever in AL to let her know--she would love for me to take pictures of her family. I had never been to AL until our family road trip in February so when I found out the route we'd be taking I let her know right away. We met up early in the morning at the Botanical Gardens and spent a couple hours playing with Ashlynn and getting her pictures before she turns the big 2 this May. The weather was beautiful and little Ashlynn is only a week older than my little one so they have a lot in common. We had a great time and I didn't want to leave. Our visit was much too short, but am so glad we got to finally do this.
