On Saturday the 13th I had the joy of documenting Steve & Tabitha's wedding celebration in the Crossroads arts district here in Kansas City. Their ceremony and reception were held in one location which was super convenient for guests and the warehouse-turned-gallery totally fit their laid-back personalities and let their style shine through. Because of hurricane Ike we had storms all weekend but it stopped just in time for their wedding Saturday evening with only a few sprinkles here & there. But as the saying goes: rain on your wedding day is lucky!
Tabitha & Steve, I hope you have a wonderfully long & happy marriage. Enjoy each other! :o)
Here is a teaser of some of my favorite pics so I hope you enjoy seeing these as much as I enjoyed taking them!
I just can't decide on the dress pics which is my fave! Her GORGEOUS bouquet and the really awesome art on the wall in the background. Getting ready...She reminds me of a ballerina in this picture. The rings... and I still can't get enough of these flowers! Their 1st meeting The girls & guys striking their "attitude" poses
Love the sunglasses, Steve! Waiting to walk up the stairs to walk down the aisle Her smile is too cute!
I love how Steve nearly had a "foot-popping" kiss. Look! ;o) In the receiving line waiting to greet guests... Admiring the art These fun little cakes were placed on tables and were chocolate while the larger cake was all vanilla.
Mmm... the sweet smell of sugar & flowers The building had great balconies where guests could enjoy the nice weather & fresh air. Looking through the guest book... Their first dance was to "Crush" by Dave Matthews Band. Tabitha sang all the words to Steve as they danced.
Then the wedding party & other guests joined in It was a cloudy day all day but just as the sun set the sky lit up in the brightest orange I think I've ever seen. The perfect end to a perfect day!
