Coming up August 25th-26th I will have a booth at the Midwest Kid's Fest at the Overland Park, KS Convention Center. There will be all kinds of things to do for kids and new products and prizes for the parents, as well as a car seat check station and special character guests and performers. It's also benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
If you're in the area and have kids, come check it out! It's going to be a blast! http://www.midwestkidsfest.com

Cassie's Maternity
Yesterday I had the pleasure of doing Cassie's maternity shoot. Her mother hired me to do these & insisted to Cassie that she get them done (Cassie's a bit camera shy & was hesitant) because her mom knows she'll really value them after the little one arrives. Those nine months go so fast, relatively speaking, and it's a time a mother comes to cherish as her little one grows up.

Here we go!
Well, I can't say that I'm new to the blogosphere, but this is a first on my new photography blog, so welcome! This is the place where you can learn all about the work I do, view pictures I share and see what's happening in the world of Studio P. Hang on because this is going to be so much fun! I hope you enjoy it too.
For this initial post I'm going to share some pics from an engagement shoot (hereafter: e-session) I had the pleasure of shooting last Saturday at Crown Center here in Kansas City.
This was a wonderful couple: Aaron and Lori. They are so sweet together and I was glad Aaron suggested a site a little out of the norm to do the shoot. Everyone goes to Loose Park, they said. So, here you have it! Fountains, sculptures, kisses and fun!

This sculpture on the corner of Grand and Pershing made for a great spot! These 3 below are some of my favorites!
Kissing, kissing, kissing...
A few quiet moments in an area at the very top of a stairway we found.
